Welcome to Bushmina!

I am Iryna, the creator of the Bushmina brand. For the past eight years, I have focused on helping people improve their body language, business etiquette, and self-presentation skills. My life took a significant turn in 2022 when the war in my home country, Ukraine, forced me to leave everything behind. From that moment, I dedicated myself to assisting fellow Ukrainians in finding humanitarian aid, securing temporary homes abroad, and adapting to new environments.

During the last three years, I have traveled to over 30 countries, speaking at conferences and workshops about understanding, communication, and peace. Whether in the United States, the Emirates, Nigeria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Japan, or Stockholm, I always carried my most treasured belongings with me, including my favorite jewelry. However, traveling with delicate items can be challenging.

One day, while trying to untangle one of my cherished necklaces, I realized it had been damaged beyond repair. This experience made me understand that some pieces of jewelry are meant to last a lifetime but can easily get tangled or broken while on the go. I searched for a solution but found nothing that truly met my needs. So, I decided to create it myself.

  • Feb '22

    I’ve been traveling extensively since 2022, when war broke out in my home country. Like many, I began carrying my most valuable belongings with me – not knowing where I’d be next or when I’d be able to return home.

  • September 2023

    I created my first sample sitting in the kitchen of my parents' house, using simple fabrics found in my mother's old closet.

  • April 2024

    Visited Hoi An to learn leather-craft, started sourcing materials and find partners to make the case.

  • October 2024

    I began collaborating with factories in different countries to create the perfect jewelry case that will not only protect my jewelry, but will also look elegant and sophisticated.

Helping Ukraine

As a result of Russia full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, I started traveling to speak at conferences to help fundraise for my country.

As of 2024, I have shifted my focus to helping surviving Ukrainian children deal with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Please contact me if you would like to learn more and help.
